Hi, I'm Andréa Martinez, founder of Silkweaver Consulting.

After graduating from college, I chose to make my home in Greeley, a community where my family has deep roots and which I care deeply about.Â
​
I believe that all ships rise with the tide. Strong communities aren't built by any one organization, business, or person; they're built when we invest in one another, share knowledge and resources, support our local economy, and recognize that our individual success is connected to the success of the people around us. That philosophy has shaped both my life in Northern Colorado and my career in the nonprofit sector.Â
​
My experience has taken me from program development, equipment training, and archival work at museums to nonprofit administration, database management, marketing, events, community outreach, fundraising, and organizational strategy here in Northern Colorado.
​
But small nonprofits are where I've found my home.
​
Most of my nonprofit career has been spent on teams of fewer than five. I know what it means to wear multiple hats, work with limited resources, and somehow be responsible for the database, donor communications, an upcoming event, a board meeting, a new program, and whatever unexpected problem appeared that morning.
That's also why I love this work.Â
​
I'm an unapologetic data nerd who genuinely enjoys the parts of nonprofit management that many people would rather avoid. I love taking something complicated, finding the connections within it, and turning it into a system that makes sense.Â
​
Silkweaver Consulting grew from that experience. I created it to give small, grassroots organizations access to the kind of strategic and operational support that is often reserved for organizations with much larger teams and budgets.Â
​
And I don't want the organizations I work with to need me forever.
​
I believe the best consulting transfers knowledge instead of guarding it. My role is to work alongside your team, build systems that fit your unique organization, explain the why behind them, and leave your staff with the knowledge and tools to carry those systems forward.Â

$75/hour
Silkweaver currently offers consulting at a straightforward hourly rate, giving small organizations access to professional support without requiring large, ongoing consulting contracts. All time is tracked for work done outside of in-person meetings, and a log will be provided, as requested, to ensure full transparency.
